Pro: A fast paced review of materials covered on the CCNA test.
Con: The exam simulation software is unimpressive.
Verdict: Great value mostly because of the text portion. To the point on concepts and not remedial.
What do you look for in study materials for the CCNA exam? Do you study theory or syntax? How about just hammering away at a realistic exam simulator until you feel comfortable with your scores? Of course the best approach is to do all of the above—approach this test from all angles.

Pro: This book covers a lot of material, and includes a CD-ROM with practice
tests and an electronic copy of the text.
Con: It’s poorly written, disorganized and repetitive.
Reviewer’s Rating: “I don’t recommend this book. It’s poorly written and chapters tend to repeat information found in other chapters.”
On the surface the Osborne Certification Press CCNA Study Guide appears to be an attractive offering with over 650 pages of information in 14 chapters and extras such as the “CertTrainer” and “ExamSim” software. Underneath the covers, however, you'll find a book that’s disorganized, poorly written, repetitive and confusing.

Pro: Well-written and comprehensive, covers a lot of material.
Con: Numerous errors and typos.
Verdict: This study kit is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to build solid Cisco skills and pass the CCNA test.
Sybex's CCNA Certification Kit is one of the more expensive offerings available in the field at $139.98, but there are good reasons for the price. The kit contains the comprehensive and well-written book, CCNA Study Guide and includes an excellent router simulator in the e-Trainer Virtual Lab. I've reviewed several of the competing products, and I found that this is the best CCNA self-study training kit available.

Pro: Well written, well organized, easy to read.
Con: Not enough material, discussions too brief, some concepts/topics not covered.
Verdict: Recommended for those who have Cisco experience and just want to pass the CCNA test.
CCNA 2.0 640-507 Routing and Switching Cheat Sheet appears to be Que’s response to the Exam Cram series by Coriolis. At 6"x 9" and 270 pages it's much smaller than many of the competing CCNA books. Accordingly, its price is lower too ($24.99).
